We struggle a lot to find success. We force ourselves to be better, as musicians and composers and people and whatever. It's frustrating. This track represents the ongoing battle of the artist to fall between being a smug asshole who loves himself/his music and the fragile coward, absolutely terrified of criticism to the point where they want to delete, destroy, and purge all the work they've ever done. Maybe sometimes we just need to put down the theory books and get drunk and make mistakes, beautiful mistakes.
