92 BYTES TO SPARE.

For a mod16k, I think it's safe to say that I've vastly improved from last year's Winter Chip, having incorporated a few techniques on conserving space (even though I more or less threw that out the window on the latter half of the song). Of the techniques I used, I:

- Made use of E6x to repeat the first pattern (a small optimization, but still one nonetheless)
- Used relatively small patterns (the largest you'll ever see is 16 rows)
- RECYCLED said patterns (mostly in the beginning and near the end)
- Used a small amount of samples which consisted of a kick, a snare, and 3 small portions of an anime clip downsampled to hell

The song might sound a bit awkward considering the sample decisions I made, but at least I managed to make something much more coherent than the mod16k entry I made last year. With all that being said, I can proudly say this...

LOOK MA, 250-350 BYTES PER PATTERN!

Also, here's the source of all of the melodic instruments in this song: [see botb track page]
